Profile
Farmer Copleys is a long-established family farm in West Yorkshire, with the Copley family farming the land for over 150 years. While the farm shop and visitor attraction opened in 2003, its roots go back much further, and that history still shapes what visitors experience today.
The farm has developed into one of the UK’s best-known agritourism destinations, combining working farmland with seasonal Pick Your Own events, a large farm shop, café, and a busy programme of family-focused activities throughout the year. PYO events are typically tied to the seasons and often form part of larger festivals rather than running continuously.
Alongside Pick Your Own, visitors can browse a well-stocked farm shop selling produce grown on the farm alongside goods from trusted local suppliers, or stop for food and drink made with an emphasis on Yorkshire ingredients.
The site also hosts major events such as Christmas activities, flower festivals, and large-scale summer events, making it a popular destination beyond traditional PYO visits.
Farmer Copleys is designed as a full day-out farm experience, blending food, farming, and events, while keeping a strong focus on seasonal produce, local sourcing, and sharing how food is grown with visitors of all ages.
